The April General Membership meeting will be held at its regularly scheduled time of 1700 hours.  There has been discussion amongst EB members concerning possibly holding meetings at different times to allow members from other shifts to more easily attend.  Please contact an EB member if you think alternative meeting times are a good or a bad idea.

There has been some questions regarding Option B use on the shift bump. Generally speaking Option B is seldom used. The reason is and remains the same that if used, you would not control your distination. This is not a specific location and shift bump. Luckily we now have that type of bump once a year in the fall. Option B is used if you can't obtain the shift of your choice at your substation, and you are electing to go anywhere in order to receive the shift of your choice. If used, you would first be placed into a vacant position of your preference shift. If no vacancy exist, then you would bump the lowest person on the shift, within your division, where ever that person is located. In the past, that person was usually in a CRT position. With all the moves of late, that may not be the case. So I must warn you. Be very careful what you ask for because you may be driving a distance to achieve your preference shift. Remember this is not a specific location bump. Here is another warning for those with low senority on the shifts. When using Option A, please put at least two shift options in case you really can't hold your shift. If you have any questions, please do not call Janine or command. The union is in charge of the bump. Call me if you have a question regarding the bump. Extra forms were originally sent to each sub. If you made an error with your form simply complete a new one. Notify me and get it into Janine by Monday, March 1st. Janine is collecting them. President Ken Hiller and I will conduct the bump on Wednesday March 3. Make sure you have a good phone number on your sheet so that we can call you if there are any problems. Thank You
